Oh, and I also didn't like her with the shorter hair at first either, but I eventually accepted it, because its Rukia.

Thank you ^///^ Rukia's my favourite too~ she's just a really elegant character ehehe I prefer her old hair, but I think I've come to terms with her new look now.

Rukia is my favorite character from this show, and I draw her often, so I have a bias towards art that is about her. I love her stoic look; its beautiful and totally in keeping with her personality. Great rendition. :)

o-oh thank you~
bg was done with Photoshop CS3 and SAI. In SAI I had dark blue, with light blue and light pink at the bottom blended a bit. Then in Photoshop I added a texture (layer setting is Multiply, but sdf you can try different types and see which one works the best) and added the stars with a Photoshop brush (increase the spacing, turn on scatter and size jitter, etc.) Duplicate the star layer and blur it a little, set it on Screen or Overlay and that's it ^^ and ofc the colours were adjusted with the rest of picture at the end. I hope this explains it haha;; c:
